"Face Time" is the sixth episode of the fourth season of Slasher. It aired exclusively on Shudder on September 9, 2021.

Synopsis[]
In the house, Liv calls out Theo and Vincent for what they did to Florence, while Grace has no problem with it. Liv reminds Theo he is the one who wanted to wait until Monday, and asks what has changed. Aphra, unnoticed, eats some of her own hair and walks out.
Outside, Aphra approaches Florence. At first seemingly setting her free, she instead cuts pieces of her jacket off despite her protests, before claiming she killed Seamus, ripping out her tongue with a pair of pliers and eating it in front of her. In the house, Christy notices Aphra is missing, and the others refuse to go look for her, saying it is too dangerous. This devolves into a fight, and Grace stops it, saying they will look for Aphra in the morning.
In a flashback, Merle brings Aphra and her social worker, Amber, to the island to meet Seamus and Christy. Amber tells her she will visit, and it can be hard when starting a new family, as she felt that way when she met her wife Justine and her kids Jen and Connor (revealing that she is the same Amber from Season 3: Solstice). Seamus and Christy embrace her, and Aphra says she feels like the luckiest girl in the world.
In the present, Christy takes Vincent's gun by threatening to shoot him with one of the hunting rifles, and after he tells her how the safety works, she searches for Aphra. At the memorial, Aphra claims Seamus was the only one who loved her, and no one does now. She stabs Florence repeatedly, but Christy finds them, horrified. She tries to cut Florence loose, but Aphra doesn't help her. When the masked figure approaches, Christy tries to shoot him, but misses, runs out of bullets, so she grabs Aphra and runs away. In the forest, Aphra stops and turns, saying she wants to see. The hooded figure walks up to Florence, cuts her loose, but as she tries to walk away claiming she is free and has won, he impales her on the memorial. He then chases after Christy and Aphra, who make it to the bunker.
In the bunker, Christy asks Aphra what she did to Florence, and if she cut out her tongue. Aphra says she killed Seamus. Christy says she didn't, the masked figure did. Aphra asks if she is bad. Christy says it was a bad thing to do, and Aphra has a tantrum. Christy injects her with sedative from the first aid kit. Before falling asleep, she says no one ever loved her.
In a flashback, Christy wakes up to see Aphra in their bedroom. She wakes up Seamus, and Aphra says she wants to sleep with them, as alone at the orphanage is for bad girls, Seamus allows it, though Christy is uncomfortable after seeing them snuggle. In the present, Liv wakes up to find Christy gone. Vincent tells them what happened last night. Theo decides to look for her, as they have to look out for each other, but Grace refuses, citing what he did to his own mother. Theo gets knives, while Vincent refuses to come, having done his part. In the bunker, Christy finds Aphra's phone in her jacket, her wallpaper being herself and Seamus. She uses Aphra's thumb to open it, and finds photos and videos of Aphra and Seamus. In a flashback, Aphra cooks her dead pet squirrel, and when Seamus and Christy question her, she says raccoons were eating it, and she was going to paint the bones gold like an art project. Seamus calls it very imaginative, and tries to laugh it off, while Christy is more concerned.
In the bunker, Christy finds photos of an unknown woman, and later of Aphra with the dead bodies, which horrify her. Outside, Liv and Theo find Florence dead, and Theo breaks down, stating she was killed by her own art, the only poetic thing she has ever done. He blames himself, but Liv consoles him. In the bunker, Christy finds more videos of Aphra on the phone, saying she will be rich, and talking to someone named Georgie, wanting him to have sex with her. Aphra, having woken up, says snooping is bad. In a flashback, Christy tells Seamus she doesn't think she can reach Aphra, as she is traumatized. She feels she is not ready, but Seamus consoles her, claiming they should "get ready". Christy considers dissolving the adoption and putting her in a facility, but Seamus refuses to allow it, saying he will not fail at being a father.
In the present, Aphra tells Christy she really is Aphra from Moldova, but is not 13. She needs to help her family in Moldova, so she pretended to be a child to get adopted. Christy questions the video, and Aphra claims it is old, she made it before she knew Seamus was a good man. She claims he was the only man she ever loved, and she the only woman he ever loved. Christy refuses to believe this, asking if they had an affair, but Aphra instead tells her Seamus is gay, which she knows from hiding and watching, also masturbating to it. Christy pulls the gun on her.
In the house, the others move Florence's body to the room where they have been putting the bodies. When Grace notices Spencer isn't there, she and Liv go to retrieve him. They find his body missing from his room, while Vincent and Theo reflect on where they are now. In the bunker, Aphra breaks down and attacks Christy, eating part of her face. At the house, the group realizes neither Aphra nor Christy is the killer, and wonder who it could be. Liv suggests starting a signal fire by burning down the mansion, which Grace and Vincent refuse, though Theo considers it. Christy enters, heavily mutilated, telling them Aphra did it, and they ran from the killer. When Grace notices that there is nerve and artery damage, Christy asks them to kill her. After she starts screaming, Grace shoots her in the head. Theo screams they should burn the place to the ground, and walks off.
Theo runs to the boat, followed by Liv and Vincent, and tries to leave the island. Liv says the boat is not ready and the current will take him out to sea. When he does not listen, Vincent damages the boat further. Aphra walks through the woods, lamenting Seamus' death. In a flashback, Aphra packs a bag. When Seamus and Christy walk in, she says they are sending her back to the orphanage, which she is used to. Seamus says he will never abandon her, he loves her with all his heart, and hugs her. When Christy tries to touch her, she swats her hand away. In the present, Aphra eats a raw mushroom, and begins hallucinating. She encounters the masked figure and takes his hand.
