Plot[]

Synopsis[]

While hallucinating, Aphra walks through the forest with the masked figure, who ties her between two trees and cuts her in half while she screams for her father. After she is bisected, the figure finds a finger in her stomach.

Theo and Liv place Christy's body in the room with the bodies, and discuss who the killer could be, not getting anywhere. Theo kisses Liv, but she says they cannot, and leaves to find Grace and Vincent. They find Grace and she tells them she went for a smoke, before becoming defensive when Theo mentions she does not smoke. They ask where Vincent is, and she says he went looking for Aphra. Outside, he finds Aphra bisected, and finds a ring in her innards, which he takes.

Vincent returns to the house and tells them what happened. When Grace questions the ring, he tells them where he found it. Grace tells them it is Merle's. When they ask how she knows this, she again becomes defensive. Vincent realizes she was having an affair with Merle. When Theo becomes angered, Grace states Spencer encouraged her to have an affair. She calls their marriage an arrangement.

In a flashback, Grace is shown as the nurse taking care of Spencer's wife Annette in her chemotherapy. Knowing she is dying, she says Spencer will not be able to go on alone when she passes, and she guided his ambition and protected the kids, and without her, the family and business will fall apart. She encourages Grace to look out for the family once she is gone.

In the present, Liv accuses Grace of treating her mother like dirt. A tape comes on from a laptop hidden in a drawer, where Spencer tells the remaining ones the next game is to be locked in separate rooms in the basement to solve the same set of puzzles, last out being the loser. Grace wants to play, but the others do not. When she refuses to stop, they lock her in Spencer's bedroom for her own safety. She knocks over Spencer's IV and notices the liquid going under the wall. After breaking off a nail, she finds a secret passageway out of the room.

In the past, Spencer mourns Annette dying. Grace tells him he needs to be strong for the family. He tries to come on to her, but she refuses.

In the present, Grace follows the passageway into a hallway. In the kitchen, the others notice she isn't moving anymore, but do not check. Grace makes it to the basement, into a chamber with three walls covered in puzzles. She solves one of them, and it causes the walls to move in. While trying to solve the second, she finds the third is composed of pictures of the family, and contains a rhyme. "Nine ungrateful family members came out to play. Unaware a killer's gonna make them pay. One will win. Eight will lose. Who's the killer? You must choose."

In a flashback, Annette's cancer has started to get better. She apologizes for being dramatic, but Grace thinks she was right, and Spencer does need a strong woman. She then tells Annette that autopsies are not done on cancer patients, and gives her a lethal injection, killing her.

In the present, in the basement, Grace remembers who was killed first and second. In the dining room, Vincent mocks the "relationship" between Liv and Theo before going to the bathroom, They follow him. In the basement, Grace comes to the conclusion that none of them is the killer. As the walls close in, breaking the overhead light, they stop and a compartment opens, revealing a key with a note. She takes it, and the walls retract. She leaves the basement and finds the others, proclaiming herself the "most Galloway" of them all. She warns them to play the game, as she does not think one of them will survive, before leaving to find the lock the key fits in. She eventually finds it, and opens doors to a study containing bars of gold. In the basement, Theo and Liv contemplate playing, but Vincent tells them if Grace is the only one playing, she comes in first and last, thus losing, and they leave to find her.

In a flashback, Grace comforts Spencer after Annette's death, and seduces him. In the present, Grace, in the study, is attacked by the masked figure, who incapacitates her and pours molten metal into her mouth. The others hear her screams and break in, but the killer has already left. They realize, to Vincent's smug pleasure, that none of them is the killer. Liv finds a passage behind the wall, and Theo realizes the cables connect everywhere. They assume the killer is in the bunker, and Liv and Theo go down the passage while Vincent goes through the woods.

In a flashback, Spencer announces to Seamus and Florence, to their displeasure, that Grace is to be his wife.

In the present, Theo and Liv walk down the passage to the bunker. Liv mentions her time in the army, and how the moment before action is the worst. Theo says he has kept safe ever since Vincent's kidnapping, but knows now nothing is truly safe. Entering the bunker, they find no one, but see cameras watching the property, and realize the killer has been observing them the whole time. They see Vincent outside the bunker, and observe him being attacked by the masked figure. Outside, Vincent and the killer fight, and the figure tries to strangle him with a wire. Theo and Liv emerge and attack the killer, with Theo trying to strangle him with the wire, but it breaks and the killer escapes. They split up to find him. Theo and Liv get back to the house, where Liv finds blood on a wall, before they are attacked by the killer. Liv prevents him from nearly stabbing Theo. They fight, and the killer nearly overpowers them, but Vincent arrives and knocks him out. They remove the mask, revealing "him" to be Dr. Trinh.
