Persephone Trinh is a main character in the fourth season of Slasher. She is portrayed by Jeananne Goossen.
Background[]
Not much is known about Trinh's background other than her occupation as a end-of-life specialist. She joins Spencer's game as an enforcer and overseer, occasionally offering advice, clarifications, and directions according to Spencer's will. Upon administering Spencer's medication, she immediately begins overlooking the game.
Relationships[]
Spencer Galloway[]
Trinh and Spencer share a symbiotic relationship in which he allows her to indulge her desires while enforcing his game-- getting what they both want. Despite her inclination, during the time of Spencer's assisted suicide she is a comforting presence, and even encourages Spencer to not to go through with it if he is having any doubts. This is quickly subverted however as she later injects a corrosive acid into his PICC line; causing him incredible pain while it melts through his chest.
Florence Galloway[]
Florence and Trinh's relationship immediately starts off with tension. Florence is suspicious due to the nature of Trinh's involvement in the will, and Trinh has a general dislike for Florence due to her abrasive personality. This later escalates into full-fledged hostility between the two when Florence takes an axe off Trinh, chases her through the woods with it, and later pushes her into a wood chipper.
The Gentleman[]
The Gentleman was told to the Galloway children as a ghost story, with Vincent in particular having a interest in the spirit. Although it remained just a story for many years, the name and appearance was taken by a masked killer to conduct their serial murders in secret.
Trinh's time as the Gentleman started with the death of Merle to stop the group from leaving or contacting the mainland, but further acted as a way to conduct her 'punishments' in relative secrecy. Deviations to this pattern occurred since Birgit Vogel was not a participant in the games either.
Trivia[]
