Ronald Edwards is a minor character in the first season of Slasher. He is portrayed by Booth Savage.
Background[]
Ronald is the current Mayor of Waterbury. It's unknown how he came to this position, even Sonja (Ronald's wife) said that she was surprised he got to that point.
Due to Ronald and Brenda's history, he still holds a minor lust for her. With the two meeting at a bar one night, Ronald leads Brenda to a back-hallway expecting some sort of sexual advances. Brenda cuts this short however, and does so by insulting him numerous times before leaving.
History[]
Ronald Edwards was a friend of Brenda's back in high school. He dated Sonja, Brenda's best friend. And he slept with Brenda once, causing her to be expelled from her group of friends and setting off the events of the prom night accident.
The Prom Night Accident[]
After Brenda and Ronald's tryst Sonja rescinded her group prom invitation to Brenda and invited Ada to come along with them in her stead. To get revenge for shutting her out, Brenda dropped a cinder block on Sonja's car as it was passing under the bridge she was standing on but accidentally hit Ada instead of Sonja, causing her to live the rest of her life in a vegetative capacity.
