"The Executioner" is the main antagonist of the first season of Slasher.

He is portrayed as a masked figure wearing a medieval-style outfit (leather hood, black robe) identical to one worn by the killer of Sarah Bennett's parents.

Background

The Executioner first started out as the disguise of Tom Winston as he murdered Rachel Ingram and Bryan Ingram for distributing a sex tape of him and Rachel. Going to their home on Halloween 1988, he took up a machete and stabbed Bryan through the torso. Then turning to Rachel, and after cutting her baby Sarah, out of the womb, Tom stabbed her through the neck.

After Tom's arrest and thirty years of absence, the Executioner returns to Waterbury at the same time Sarah and Dylan Bennett do, but this time with a different agenda. With the original Executioner still imprisoned, the identity of this killer is completely unknown.

With the killer back, and this time as a serial murderer, Sarah visits the original Executioner, Tom Winston, in order to get clues on who the copycat is, what they want, and who they're targeting.

After several murders, it's theorized by Tom and Sarah that the killer is targeting those whom have committed at least one of The Seven Deadly Sins of Man - Wrath, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Lust, Pride, and Envy.

Gaining information from Sarah on the victims' backgrounds and the nature of their deaths, Tom provides suggestions as to what sin the victims may have violated; Sarah would begin to employ this approach herself without Tom's assistance in later episodes.

It's not until the deaths of multiple residents of Waterbury that the police force begins to side with the "Seven Deadly Sins" theory. Officer Iain Vaughn starts out as the main opposing opinion in that regard, as he doesn't want to trust the word of a convicted felon - until it becomes apparent that these murders are indeed following the pattern, into which Vaughn begins deciphering the clues himself, even offering Sarah protection from the person behind the killings.

Kills

The Executioner (Cam Henry) managed to kill nine people during his time as the Executioner, however only one of the deaths wasn't premeditated, and that was his father Alan Henry - he did this after Alan found out that Cam was the Executioner in order to keep his secret safe. His mother, Suzanne Henry, was also killed by his hands, however it was before the Executioner, when Cam was a child.
